Graham Parker is a contemporary Welsh painter, who depicts natural landscapes in flux using layers of coloured droplets. After viewing my portfolio, Parker approached me to re-design his logo and business cards for him. Often found networking at local arts events, he has developed an appreciation for the importance of a punchy business card. 

While his canvases are sparse, Parker has an animated personality. Intent on reflecting his rich character in his personal brand, a minimalist depiction of Parker’s face has been used across the front of the business cards. The cohesive nature of Parker’s work meant that the simple portrait could accommodate fragments of the artist’s canvases. The client went on to use this combination of flexible backdrop and minimal line work for a range of branded collateral.
